I applied online. The process took 2 months. I interviewed at Promontory Financial Group in Nov 2015
Interview
Really bad... the responsibility was so broad, but interview went without any real detail. Just be aware that you are dealing with the low paid human resource officers who know little about the job. I definitely qualified for the jobs as I got some similar offers. I got rejection letter after one day!
I applied through a staffing agency. The process took 5 days. I interviewed at Promontory Financial Group (London, England) in Sep 2016
Interview
I had very good interview with them, the rapport was good and I was able to answer the questions fully and comprehensively giving plenty of detail on how I would handle various client situations. The recruiter I applied through told me that I had been rejected on the basis that whilst being technically very strong I did not appear to be enthusiastic about the role.
The recruiter in prepping me for the role had said that they were finding it very difficult to fill the role and gave me various reasons why,(none of them related to a candidate not being enthusiastic). My own view on reflection is that this is a firm which quite simply cannot make its mind up and make a hire and finds it easier to reject candidates than come to a decision
