I applied online. The process took 1 week. I interviewed at Promega (Milan) in May 2012
Interview
The position was advertised through the company website and it contained a good description of the job. I sent a CV and cover letter and they immediately wrote me back for a 1:1 interview. The environment I found was highly professional but friendly and polite at the same time. Even if I knew I couldn't get the job (at the time I was still working in an academic environment and I wanted to finish my projects there) I wanted to see the offices and meet the people there, to get a more precise idea of the biotech corporate field.

I applied through an employee referral. The process took 5 weeks. I interviewed at Promega (Madison, WI) in Sep 2018
Interview
Long day! But I really enjoyed the conversations we had. Not the typical STAR type questions. Questions we targeted and meaningful. I started with an HR phone interview, a phone interview with the hiring manager and the.n an in person interview with 9 people. The interview day was all day and it took a month after the interview for me to get an offer. the recruiter stayed in touch with me throughout the whole process and was very informative.
I applied online. The process took 6 weeks. I interviewed at Promega in May 2015
Interview
Resume submitted on-line, HR phone interview, hiring manager phone interview, lengthy on-site interview. Some aspects surprisingly unskilled, ie job description does not match actual responsibilities, interview panel included only 1 person who would be a day-to-day coworker; interviewers did not explain their roles in company or interaction with position; several interviewers obviously not prepared with questions that might help determine out suitability for position-seemed uninvested in process. Overall not impressed.

Interview
Interview process consists of a phone interview with HR, a technical phone interview and a long onsite interview. At the end, they know a lot about you and you know a lot about them. I was interviewed about my culture fit as well as my fit to the job. It was a pleasant and thorough experience.
