Three interviews, starting with initial screening, then a call with hiring manager and senior department manager. The final step is an on site with the entire department that lasts for most of the day.

The questions were very technical to see what you know and what your troubleshooting approach is. One question was "I bought competent cells from you but when I plated them I didn't get any colonies. What went wrong?"
