Dear applicant,
This sounds very strange to us as well. What I'd like to clarify is that we don't normally do phone interviews but have made exceptions in the past. We absolutely do email and text confirmations however, there is no email in our library of automated messages that consists of the language saying an "application process is closed". It seems there might have been a miscommunication for which we'd like to apologize for but we're also wondering if maybe there was confusion about which company this situation occurred with since we didn't seem to receive an email detailing this information. My advice would be to call the office at (631) 242-1675 to see what happened.
