Received a call and email that the company viewed my resume and wanted me in for an initial interview for a Management trainee position. I had never heard of them but still I figured why not. Went for the "interview" which was about ten minutes of basic questions- mostly pertaining to myself as opposed to my resume. The interviewer stated this interview was supposed to be for him to get a quick feel of who I was. He stated that after review I may or may not receive a call back for part two of the interview- a full day trip with one of the more experienced associates. He told me salary would be discussed during that future visit. He attempted to make it seem as if he had a million candidates to review and I may not get a call back. Due to the endless ads I see posted by this random company I didn't buy into that at all. As expected, I did receive a call to come in for a full day of on the field shadowing or something but I declined. I didn't like the thought of spending eight unpaid hours doing I don't know what with a company I never heard of with no idea about future compensation.
