      GPS-PNT Engineer Interview

      Sep 4, 2017
      Anonymous interview candidate
      No offer
      Neutral experience
      Easy interview

      Application

I applied through university. I interviewed at PreTalen

      Interview

Applied at college career fair and was contacted around 2 months later about an interview. There were 3 interviews, the first was a phone interview with generic background questions (salary expectations, relocation). The second interview was a semi-technical interview. They mostly asked about things on my resume although they did ask some questions on some general concepts. Before the third interview they presented a technical challenge which was creating a desktop application for a GPS module they sent. The challenge itself was not difficult although the information was poorly presented and the correct edition of the software required to set up the module was not sent. The technical challenge was to be presented at the third interview. The third interview was an on site panel interview, and seemed fairly disorganized. The interview was done half through screen sharing and the managers online were aware of the interview, however the staff on site did not seem to realize there was an interview that day and did not seem prepared with questions. The interview was mostly behavioral, with the technical questions handled by the challenge. Overall the interview was still a positive experience and everyone was very professional. I was told I would receive a response in a week but needed to wait about 1 month after the third interview to receive a rejection email.
