Praxis Packaging interview questions

Interviewer said there would definitely be follow up within 2 weeks and then I heard nothing (and it's been several weeks.) I'm not sure they really know what they are looking for. They reposted their add, so they are now trying to identify more candidates. I work in Human Resources and understand the need to find the perfect fit, but don't leave the ones who invested time into you hanging. That is unprofessional. This is a candidate market (and certainly you realize this) and negative words spread fast. Even if you returned a call now, I would pass based in how you treat candidates.

First interview was pretty standard, and went well. They showed a lot of interest in my background and seemed ready to make an offer. Then nothing...for 4.5 months when they called me saying that their hiring freeze was over and that I was the first person they thought of. I was brought in for another interview (telling me the shift would be 6 days a week), then I met with the CEO in the same week. During that meeting, the CEO specifically said, "if we're working you 6 days a week in 6 months we have a problem". During that second interview I walked the floor with the Production Manager that's been there 17+ years. Things were looking up, until the Production Manager blatantly said the person before me was working 70+ hours and they'd lying if they said the position would ever be different than 6 days a week, at that point I became uninterested in the company. Its been 3 week since that meeting and I haven't heard anything from the recruiters, not even a "we're looking at other candidates" email. Poor form Praxis!
