      HRBP Interview

      Jun 4, 2026
      Anonymous interview candidate
      No offer
      Neutral experience
      Easy interview

      Application

I applied through a recruiter. I interviewed at Pratt & Whitney in May 2026

      Interview

I had 2 really great virtual interviews and 1 great in person a VP. This feedback is about the in-person interview. I interviewed in person for an HR role at Pratt & Whitney, and the experience was very disappointing. For a company of this size and reputation, I expected a more professional, organized, and thoughtful candidate experience. The interview process felt disjointed and was overly structured (e.g. rapid fire questions, not a conversation). I did not leave with a clear understanding of the role, the team, expectations, or next steps. More importantly, the experience did not feel respectful of the time and preparation required for an in-person interview. My advice would be to better prepare interviewers, align on the purpose of each conversation, and communicate more clearly with candidates throughout the process. A candidate’s interview experience says a lot about the organization’s culture and employer brand.

      Question 1

They asked me questions about Employee Relations when ER is not part of the role on the job description or minimum qualifications.
