      Senior Front End Developer Interview

      Feb 2, 2025
      Anonymous interview candidate
      Spring, TX
      No offer
      Neutral experience
      Average interview

      Application

I applied through a recruiter. The process took 3 months. I interviewed at Postscript (Spring, TX) in Nov 2024

      Interview

I first had an interview with a recruiter at postscript in November of 24. I was then passed onto an technical assessment which I found to be quite enjoyable, a good combination of practical coding and working through common cross functional team communication. After this is where my experience started to fizzle out. I next had an interview with the hiring manger. It was a standard conversation, at this time the hiring manager informed me that I would be moved onto the next round. The next day the recruiter reached back out to me and said that the position had been filled, but there was another open position on a different team that I could interview for. I was scheduled for an interview the next week. I had the interview, again the conversation went well. A day or two later the recruiter reached out again to let me know that that this position has been filled as well. Fast forward to last month, another positioned opened up. I speak again to the recruiter and hiring manager, I am moved onto the next stage and then informed again a few days later that this new position has been filled. I can't honestly give the greatest feedback on this interview process, if there were already candidates far enough along, why interview me? Or pass me to the next round to just rescind later? I don't think there was any bad intent, and everyone I spoke to was great to talk with. I can honestly say that I think they have a good engineering culture from my conversations and I would honestly interview there again. But there are some processes that seem to need ironing out.
