The interview process (thankfully) involved multiple touch points with many different people both remotely and in person. It started with an assessment that tested the foundational skills that one would have to have to be successful in the position.
Once that was passed, I moved on to a fairly extensive interview process. But it wasn't overbearing. It allowed interaction on different days and times with many key people, including those I would be working together with on a daily basis. The final step was meeting with many team members in person to see how everyone felt about each other.
Overall, I appreciated that the process was thorough and that one of their top priorities was to protect their company culture. It gave me confidence that future additions to the team will be a good fit (since they will have to go through the same process).
I also appreciated the sense they gave me that this was a team decision and not one individual's decision. It showed that team members have an important voice in the process and ultimately the makeup of the team.
