I applied online. The process took 3 days. I interviewed at Plus Relocation (Minneapolis, MN) in Sep 2019
Interview
Positive: Response within three days of application. Negative: Phone interview formulaic. Here’s where the weird begins - I was qualified, based on their job offering, for the Global Counselor position, however, they tried to “bait n switch” me into a lesser job - Associate Counselor - for less money and more work (no assistant!). I felt insulted.
I shut down the process because of the above insult plus their touting Gallup Strengths Assessment (formerly Clifton) as an employee benefit🤔. The time to test for adaptivity is before the hire instead of retrofitting the job to the employee personality. Good luck with that!
Interview questions [1]
Question 1
Standard stuff: Tell me about your wirk experience as it relates to this role.
Hello! Thank you for leaving a review regarding our interview process. During our phone screenings, we sometimes discuss multiple positions candidates may be interested in. This helps our recruiters and candidates determine the right fit for the right position based on work experience and any prior relocation industry knowledge.
We also see you called out the Gallup Strengths Assessment. This is something we offer all employees to complete on their first day at Plus. It's part of our culture to focus on strengths to increase employee engagement and help everyone understand how to use their unique talents. We employ other methods to thoroughly screen job candidates pre-hire, then use the strengths assessment post-hire to maximize the potential of all Plusites.
If you have any other specific feedback you'd like to provide, please feel free to connect with a Plus recruiter.
