I applied online. I interviewed at Planet Fitness (Fort Myers, FL)
Interview
Applied, got a call a few days later to come in for an interview, and got a call back a few weeks later to meet with manager. The woman who interviewed me made it insanely uncomfortable. I came 10 minutes early and one of the two woman at the desk had me wait for the interviewer. They sat on Facebook laughing until 5 minutes after my interview time and I found out that one of them was the interviewer. Cut me off while I was answering questions and didn't seem interesting at all to be there.
I applied in-person. I interviewed at Planet Fitness (Meridian, MS) in Jan 2026
Interview
Easy interview with the basic questions, such as “tell me about yourself”, “how do you handle difficult customers”, “have you ever worked in a gym setting before”. Very laid back and to the point
I interviewed at Planet Fitness (Cape Girardeau, MO)
Interview
Basic interview process. First they called me and asked me what is a good time to come in. I Interviewed with General Manager first. Then I interviewed with the Assistant General Manager. They were very welcoming offering me a water and gave me a tour of the facility.
Smooth and easy process. There is not intimidation throughout the interview and the company is seeking out flexible workers to fill in their spots. The company is more so looking for college students
