Initially submitted my resume to a listing on a job board for an I&C System Engineer. I was contacted by the company's HR rep and was asked if I was interested in a telephone interview. I was contacted by the company owner who conducted an telephone interview for about an hour. At the end of which, he asked that I drive 2 1/2 hours to his location for an interview in person. I arrived and at the appointed time entered the business office. There was no one in the reception area and no one came out from the back at the door chime. I decided to wait and sat down in a the lobby chair. About15 minutes later, a lady entered the front door and started towards the back. She stopped and returned and asked if she could help me. After I introduced myself, she introduced herself as the HR rep. She checked the back and said that the owner was not in. She then asked that I take a seat and wait. At that time the Receptionist returned and introduced herself as the owners wife and stated that he would be late as he had a doctors appointment and was running behind. About an hour after our originally scheduled time the owner appeared and we went to his office with the HR rep for the interview which lasted about 2 hours. He then stated that he was satisfied that I would be prefect for his position but that he would like to introduce me to his primary (multimillion dollar billing) client and asked that I return for an interview with her. He said that he really hated to ask me to do that but never offered to reimburse me for my travel. I came back a week later and met with the client at their offices. The owner of PC&S never showed and had only emailed me an address and clients name after I requested them. I met for 3 hours with the client and at the end she announced that she was satisfied and would talk with the owner of PC&S and convey her desire that I be brought on board as soon as possible. Two days later I received an email from the owner of PC&S asking how the interview went. I replied via email that as far as I knew everything was fine. He replied the next day that he would check with the client and let me know. That was 3 weeks ago and I haven't heard a word from anyone at PC&S.
