I didn't actually get to interview stage. I was represented by a recruiter who sent me a link to the job ad and after my interest they then sent my CV through to Student Beans. I soon after was asked to complete 2 tests "The Word Survey" and "Mental Agility Test" which together would amount to me investing 45 mins, before even speaking to anyone about the role (including the 3rd party recruiter). Both tests were not relevant to a Talent Manager position and very much felt like a conscious effort to reduce applications to go through. It seems that this company is not aware that the current climate is very favourable towards candidates, so asking for such a time investment before even speaking to the candidate is not acceptable. I withdrew my application.
