I applied online. The process took 7 weeks. I interviewed at Performics (Santa Monica, CA) in Mar 2019
Interview
The worst interview process I’ve ever experienced. The process took over 6 weeks. It was ridiculous. If you want a candidate to lose interest, drag out the interview process for a month and a half and during the final interview tell them that the reason this position is open is because the current Associate Media Manager left because there wasn’t opportunity for growth.
I applied via LinkedIn and reached out to the job poster and was contacted to set up a phone interview immediately. After that, things went downhill. I had a 4 hour interview at the Santa Monica office and when I walked in I immediately got a “sad” vibe. The office was a mess, the employees seemed unhappy and the overall environment was shockingly depressing for an advertising agency. I work with Publicis at my current company, which is why I initially applied, but I couldn’t be more happy to accept an offer
with another company.
The recruiter was very friendly, but the fact that this entire process took over 6 weeks is unacceptable. I understand that it’s ultimately the responsibility of the hiring team to make a decision, but being a recruiter, it’s your job to have a sense of urgency to fill the position.
All in all, I wish I could get back the PTO hours I used to interview for this position. Save yourself the time unless you plan on working there for a year and then leaving.
I applied through a recruiter. I interviewed at Performics (Chicago, IL) in Jan 2021
Interview
A few rounds of Virtual interviews but overall the interview process was great. Everyone that I spoke to throughout the process were very nice and transparent. Overall, a very pleasant experience!
I applied through a recruiter. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at Performics
Interview
It was a positive experience, I met with a few different people on the marketing team and each asked similar comprehensive questions. Everyone was really comfortable to talk to, no trick questions, etc.

Question 1
Not too many technical questions but asked about past experience and a little about excel and paid search experience.
I applied online. The process took 3 weeks. I interviewed at Performics in Oct 2019
Interview
The process was pretty quick in the scheme of things. I first had a call with a recruiter, then with a media director and had a Skype interview with 3 different people from the office I would be working at. The whole process from phone call to offer was around 3 weeks.

Question 1
They asked about my search (seo and sem) experience and my excel experience. Then they asked the basics like “tell me about yourself.”
