People Placement interview questions

The interview process was long and drawn out. Took a month them to make a decision. The recruiter told me I was passed on, then told me an hour later he made a mistake and told me they were going to make an offer. He asked for references, never called them and told me a week later I was passed up again. I am not sure these recruiters k ow what they are doing. Very unprofessional experience for me.
