The process took 4 weeks. I interviewed at Pearl Hospitality (Houston, TX)
Interview
Multiple interviews including a 5 hour “Stage” which started in a room in the basement where I was asked 3 times to scream as load as I could. No joke. In a room with two strangers judging from1-10 how passionate my scream was? Recruiter likes to ask personal questions that are not about the job abilities. Had 8 interviews in one day with every department head. Everyone was just wasting time. After this time suck recruiter called references and time sucked them as well with more personal questions. Never received communication about not getting the position. Really weird vibe from everyone in the building like they were all trapped in a horror movie. Stay away.
I applied online. I interviewed at Pearl Hospitality
Interview
I received 4 phone calls from the same in-house recruiter. The first two were related to experience and the position itself, then a follow up phone call a short time later to set up a call for Monday morning. That call was filled with more personal questions, how I liked to spend my free time, did I enjoy traveling, what did I do for fun and others of the same tenor. Another call came in to get a little more information on a few of my responses and after a few minutes and ultimately being told I 'seemed closed off' I thanked them for their time and withdrew from consideration.

Question 1
The second phone call in its entirety consisted of questions I never expected from a pre-employment screening
