Interview
Initial communication was made by the recruiter with less than a day's notice for an interview. Not an issue and I did confirm my availability. Then I don't hear from them for 3 weeks post which the recruiter wants to have call within 3 hours which was not possible due to my work commitments. Finally after a couple of days the interview did happen and the recruiter was polite and professional. Gave an overview of the role and what was expected.
I believed I would be talking to a product manager next. However before that I had to complete an assignment. Having worked on assignments for recruitments before I knew the time required is usually less than 3-4 hours. However the assignment given was almost like a release which would have taken 2-3 weeks. So I declined. Having now read other experiences where candidates were ghosted after completing the task makes me believe I took the right decision.

Interview
Process very streamlined and interview took place as part of their expansion plans into Malaysia. The CEO even took the time to fly in to personally interview me, which proved they were serious about things, and importantly, knows his product to the letter.
Whilst I was not chosen sadly, I believe the interview process was fair and just - with our 3rd round interview taking 2 hours, just because we had a lot to discuss!

Question 1
What is the one product plan you have for your existing company, and what are the reasons why you're looking to expand the company vertical into that? What are you trying to achieve?
The interview process is too long and there will be the chance you get the offer with different role that you apply in the beginning. The schedule is changed or delayed frequently.
