I applied online. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at Paylocity (San Francisco, CA) in Aug 2021
Interview
Applied online, recruiter reached out via LinkedIn the next day. Had a pleasant initial phone call with the recruiter, she was personable, friendly and very thorough regarding next steps. Completed an assessment afterwards called "Pymetrics" which was a series of "games" to assess your behavioral styles, then was scheduled for a phone interview with the sales director. Interview was standard, he asked about my sales experience, detailed metrics, etc. and got a bit defensive when I asked how many of his reps met their sales quota this year as if to say they all did and why would I even assume they didn't. Overall standard and straight-forward interview process but the director's overall tone turned me off a bit and I could tell this position was too hardcore, cut-throat sales which was not what I was looking for. The initial recruiter call, however, really made me excited about the company, it seems like they have great culture and are proud of it.

I applied through a recruiter. The process took 1 week. I interviewed at Paylocity (Houston, TX) in Apr 2024
Interview
Very vague questions. Interviewer wouldn’t openly share the requirements of the role or what made them reach out to me on LinkedIn about meeting. Sent a follow up email after the interview and never heard back again.

Interview
A joke. I’m starting to think they just post the job but then don’t hire anyone. I applied Sept 23’ and had all the requirements they listed in the job posting. Yet the recruiter said because of my experience she knows they’re going to want me to start as a Growth Market AE, with significantly lesser pay. Again, I had all qualifications they were looking for for the HCM role. Then she gets back to me a few days later just to say they’ve decided not to move forward at all? I’ve seen them post these exact same jobs at least 3-4 times since I’ve applied and out of all the candidates, you haven’t found anyone?? Very bad taste in my mouth about this company.

Interview
Got an initial call from the recruiter and was told that they liked what they heard and will be contacted for another interview, and the recruiter just ghosted me with no follow up email. Very unprofessional.
