There were several rounds of interviews with different members of the team, as well as separate technical skills and writing assessments.
Each interview was no more than an hour and evaluated different skills/fit for the various parts of the job. There was also always a chance to ask questions of the interviewer to get a feel for the company.

What stuck out most were several free-form troubleshooting questions. The interviewer would give an example of an actual problem that they had dealt with in the past, and then I had to talk through how to solve it (with the interviewer giving additional information at each step).

I applied online and they contacted me to schedule an interview. First interview was with the HR and CEO. I thought this interview would be about my background/experience and also they will provide more details about the role and company but after answering couple of questions about my previous experiences, they asked several technical questions. I did not get a positive vibe from the interview. I felt like they were trying to prove that I am not a good fit for this position. Right after the interview I got an email that they have decided to proceed with other candidates!
