      Application

I applied online. The process took 4 weeks. I interviewed at Park West Gallery (Dallas, TX) in Nov 2009

      Interview

I would have to say this was the most fun interview I ever had. The nature of it is that you're in a group interview setting with maybe 5-6 other people. There is one company representative who explains the company, job description and what happens after the interview if you're selected. Basically, they want to see how you act socially within a group as so much of the job is based on quickly establishing rapport with new people, having a good personality, not being shy or showy, etc. They called me within a few days to invite me to their 10-day training in Florida a couple months later, which wasn't a guarantee of the job. They sent over 300+ pages of PDF's of info to memorize/know for the training. No pass, no ship, go home w/ no job. It was an intense 10 days, made loads of good friends, still keep in touch with my roommate and having had sales training before, I was impressed with the company and quality of training, top notch. After that, we were assigned ships... time of my life, but long term, there's no stability in having a normal life or reliable pay unless you're the equivalent of a successful standup comedian and Tony Robbins all rolled into one. But met some amazing people and learned a lot. I called it my post-divorce therapy job, and it served that purpose very well.

      Interview questions [1]

      Question 1

Each person got a totally random question I've never heard in an interview...ever. Almost like drinking game questions or something. Having a boring answer would be failing, I think, or not interacting with the others or not making eye contact. My question was, "If you could travel to any time period, past or future, which era would it be and why?" I think another might have been "Who would you invite to a dinner, dead or alive, and why?"

      Interview

A few skype interview, if you speak english well or from a native english speaking country you are pretty much in for a training. Good luck paying for all medicals and flights and havign the worst time of your life at training with chances of being sendedhome. Even more luck to you to survive 4 auctions per cruise with moving art all over the ship even if you are a girl.
