I applied through an employee referral. The process took 1 week. I interviewed at Paraza Pharma (Montreal, QC) in Jul 2022
Interview
Very formal and interpersonal. After I presented my Ph.D. work, they asked me a bunch of insightful questions and then posed some organic chemistry and retrosynthesis questions. Later, they had a presentation of their own where they walked me through who they are and what they do.
It was hard to understand what they were asking and did not clarify the nature of the intial interview in order to adequately prepare. In general there could have been much better communication so that we could both make the most of the time. In addition taking the time to speak clearly in an interview environment is very helpful to do for both sides.
The interview process was direct, in the sense that you apply, then they get back to you about scheduling an interview if they like your CV
