Interview experience:
I applied for the General Manager position at Hotel Hermosa. About a week after dropping off my résumé in person, I was contacted to schedule a same-day Zoom interview. Before the interview, I was asked to complete the online application, which took around two and a half hours to finish.
The interview itself was professional and straightforward. The questions were fairly standard for a GM role—focused on leadership approach, operations management, and guest relations. I didn’t advance to the second round, but the overall process was efficient and courteous.
Advice for candidates:
Have your résumé and references ready, as they move quickly once they reach out. Be prepared to complete the online application before your interview, and expect a focused but professional conversation.
