5 separate interviews. First is a meet and greet. Second is a presentation of the company. 3rd is you bring in a list of 200 prospective clients. Fourth is bringing in your significant other. Fifth is when you're offered the job. I caught red flags left and right. First was when the recruiter told me 'dress to impress' and 'prepare for the best opportunity of your life'.
You pay for your Series 7 & 66 licensing, the company doesn't cover you, 1500 expense. You're on the hook for parking, insurance, using their software and a few other things which totaled around 8k annually... They save the discussion of salary and personal expenses for the end of the second interview. There was a change in demeanor and tone by the guy conducting the interview.. a huge red flag to have the interviewer choke on his words and I don't blame him.. I'd despise having to share with an interviewee that 1/3 of your salary goes directly back to the company. Salary offered is 32k year 1, and 26k year 2, then all commission year 3 and beyond. All they offer is the platform for conducting your own personal business, everything else is your personal hustle.
If you brought over 1m PRCG would likely make 50k in profits which covers your salary. Made me feel like they don't care and all they're after are a few prospective clients.. if you quit, so what, they'll have your clients.
They're rated Top 100 companies in Seattle which means nothing because that's solely based on employee feedback.
Im thankful I went, it was a wake-up call of what to be aware of in the financial field
