The interview process was pretty straight forward with a screening with a recruiter + the head of product then three rounds with CTO, Lead Designer, and PM.
Each conversation primarily focused on my background and my approach to product management. Every conversation I had was incredibly thoughtful and everyone I interacted with seemed to communicate a strong passion for the problem space and commitment to building a healthy culture.
The team seemed to really like me but the role wasn't the best fit based on what I was looking for. Coming from a technical background, I was hoping to make an impact on the "owner" experience side of things but their primary needs were for a PM to own more of the top of the funnel initiates like the website, onboarding, and marketing analytics. I felt really comfortable communicating this and the hiring manager said we could pick the conversation back up when they were focusing their priority on more operational/technical challenges.
I would absolutely recommend anyone apply if you're interested because the team is solid, the company is solving problems that no one else has attempted, and the culture rocks. Hope to join the team one day!
