      Flight Attendant Interview

      Dec 22, 2018
      Anonymous employee
      Charlotte, NC
      Accepted offer
      Positive experience
      Easy interview

      Application

I applied online. The process took 3 weeks. I interviewed at PSA Airlines (Charlotte, NC) in Dec 2018

      Interview

I applied online about 3 weeks ago. Within a few days of applying online, I was invited to do an assessment and a recorded video interview. About 3 hours after completing those steps, I was invited to the face to face in Charlotte, NC. Just a heads up, you are expected to pay for your own hotel. They will fly you out if you live 4+ hours away from the interview sight. My group interview only have 20 people. The beginning of the interview started with a presentation given by 4 current senior flight attendants. They tell you about pay and the perks and expectations of the job. When the presentation is over, we were given 15 min to think about where we wanted to continue with the process. If you decided to stay, you were called up one-by-one to the front according to the number on your name tag. We had to say our name, an interesting fact about ourselves, and read a card assigned to us out loud in front of the entire group. Once everyone had their turn, we had a 30 min lunch provided by the company. Immediately after lunch, we were callled one-by-one for a one-on-one Interview. Everyone went since we had a smaller group. Any questions you find in the interview reviews will be asked. I found a total of 15 and was asked about 10 of them. I was also asked to explain what my role was in previous jobs. I talked to 3 different flight attendants for my one-on-one but only one at a time, not all 3 at once which made it less intimidating. I was told that I would hear whether I got the job within the next week. I got an email saying I got the job 4 hours after I left the interview! The whole time I smiled and was very social with the rest of the interviewees as well. I also made a point to ask questions and made my face known to 2 of the 4 flight attendants that lead the interview process. If you have tattoos they will ask about them. If you have them on your arms, the will ask to see them. That’s what happened to 2 of my group members. I have 4 but they are easily hidden in the flight attendant uniform.
