      Sales Engineer Interview

      Nov 11, 2025
      Anonymous interview candidate
      No offer
      Negative experience
      Difficult interview

      Application

I applied through a recruiter. The process took 1 week. I interviewed at PRINTFUL in Nov 2025

      Interview

Recruiter interview was great. Thoughtful, learned about the company, culture, customers and the role. The hiring manager interview unfortunately felt very robotic and one-sided. The first question was to give a “10 minute in-depth explanation of specifically how I’ve handled implementation projects”. This was before asking simple things like “who am I” lol. It was clear that it’s not a good culture fit right off the bat, and the rest of the interview continued like this.

      Interview questions [1]

      Question 1

Give a 10 minute detailed step by step explanation of how you handle pre-sales, explain why RestAPI is different that GraphQL, explain how you use data, explain SDKs, explain how to connect an ERP to Shopify’s backend.
