      Application

I applied online. I interviewed at PIMCO (New York, NY) in Dec 2016

      Interview

I applied online and was then invited to have a phone interview. The phone interview was pretty standard, mainly behavioral questions. I was then invited to a Super Day in their New York office where there were 6 interviews back to back with different associates. We were asked to send in our transcripts and submit a writing sample as well. They had one of the interviews through video chat with the office in Newport Beach. The questions were also very standard such as tell us about a time you worked in a group and had to overcome a challenge, your greatest goals in life... One interview was different where I was asked how to handle tertiary education and beliefs on the strengths and weaknesses of the system. The interviewer just wanted to get an idea of our thought process. Overall, a pretty good interview process! They were really good at maintaining communication and all very professional.
