Interview
Hirevue, recruiter, manager. Hirevue was pretty fair do the role, but specific questions I didn’t study for caught me off guard. The recruiter was very helpful and sent me a very detailed and long preparation guide

Video interview followed by 4 online interview super day. Relatively speedy process but not great in terms of talking about Pimco and the work there. Was all remote. Didn’t love the feel of the culture, not a huge amount of excitement for their work

I applied through university. I interviewed at PIMCO (Newport Beach, CA)
Interview
Interviewers were impersonal and prickly. Interview questions were hard and wide ranging, from drilling down into company-specific fundamentals to top-down views on interest rates and asset allocation. Felt like there was already some bias towards certain candidates who might have had some prior connections/relationships.
