I applied online. The process took 3 months. I interviewed at PIMCO (Toronto, ON) in Oct 2019
Interview
It went on for 3 months with 3 rounds with initial screening, video interview then in-person surperday. The entire process was very pleasant with the recruiter being very informative and helpful. The questions were quite indicative of what was expected from the job. Overall, great experience.

I applied online. The process took 3 months. I interviewed at PIMCO (Miami, FL) in Mar 2026
Interview
The interview process consisted of several rounds —Hirevue (10 questions - behavioral & FI/macro), Technical interview which was a month after the HV (consisted heavily in Duration/convexity/FI portfolio construction), Superday (5 rounds with different teams in different locations) and an Excel assessment.
The whole process took around 3.5 months and a lot of practice and deep study into certain macro economics and fixed income concepts. I received a rejection email 3 weeks after Superday.
hirevue then wait 6 weeks till superday. 4 rounds of back-to-back interviews with interviewers from different location on superday. Mix of technical, behavioural and motivation. Little Q&A session in the end of each interview.
My interview process consisted of 2 parts:
1. On-demand digital interview (pretty standard questions about who you are, some behavioural stories, why you're interested in the firm + some questions about recent market news)
2. Virtual superday (four 30 minutes Interviews; Business Formal)
