      Product Designer Interview

      Application

I applied online. I interviewed at PERSUIT in Oct 2025

      Interview

Pretty humane and conversational overall, with a mix of technical depth where needed. The process typically started with an intro call to understand background and culture fit, followed by a portfolio walkthrough focusing on problem framing, decision-making, and impact rather than just visuals. There were a few rounds that went deeper into product thinking and collaboration—discussing how I work with PMs and engineers, handle ambiguity, and prioritize trade-offs. Some questions leaned technical, especially around systems thinking, scalability, and how design decisions translate into implementation. Overall, it felt balanced—not overly rigid or academic, but still thorough enough to assess both craft and strategic thinking.

      Question 1

Q: What would be your plan for enabling AI across our product and organization? They wanted a clear, practical roadmap, and my approach essentially mirrored what they were already aiming for—starting with identifying high-impact use cases, aligning with product and engineering, and gradually embedding AI into workflows in a scalable, responsible way.
