I was called in quickly for an interview where I interviewed with HR, the owner, and sales manager. They basically wanted someone who knew everything about everything even though the position was for a Marketing Generalist (read: they are cheap). I had a phone interview as well. I sent thank you cards, emails, and follow ups. They told me that this was a new position (which was a lie) and then told me they were still conducting interviews 2 weeks later. If you had no intention of hiring me, at least don’t lie and string me along. HR never once contacted me. I had to contact them besides when they called for an interview. I ended up emailing them and telling them I was no longer interested to which they replied they were still conducting interviews. No courtesy to let me know they weren’t interested. Rude.
