I applied online. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at Oscar Recruit (London, England) in May 2022
Interview
The interview process at Oscar is very professional. There are multiple stages and parts to the interview that otherwise might not exist when interviewing at another company.
You will want to be prepared because there will be both online and in person interviews. You will also talk to multiple people within the company during this process. You will meet and talk to very important people within the business. They will really want to know more about you and why you want to work for Oscar. So be prepared to speak online, on microsoft teams and in the office.
You’ll also have a CV task to complete which is to test your understanding of recruitment.
There will also be a small role play in the face to face interview. You will be prepped for it but don’t worry it’s not as daunting as it sounds.
Overall Oscars recruitment process is challenging but at the same time it is definitely necessary. You either have the correct attitude and skills towards recruitment or you don’t. I think Oscar really tests you to see if you are fit to carry out the role or not.
They carry out their interview process to a point where they stand out from the rest.

Question 1
What traits do you think someone needs to be able to succeed in recruitment
I applied through a recruiter. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at Oscar Recruit (Austin, TX) in Mar 2025
Interview
It was so amazing for me! I had one in person interview then one interview over the phone which was roleplay. I have had no prior experience selling candidates and I performed as well as I could and got the job. Not a bad experience. I work here now, and the culture is amazing and everyone I work with is so much fun. If you can work here, work here!!!

Question 1
What 5 qualities are needed to succeed as a resource consultant?
More stages than I would expect but all carefully laid out from the beginning! A screening call, in person interview, then another interview with role plays. Role plays can be intimidating but the feedback is great!
