I applied through university. The process took 4 weeks. I interviewed at Orndorf & Associates (Upper Darby, PA) in Sep 2018
Interview
It was a relaxed environment. The interviewers were very personable and fun to talk to. We reviewed my work experience and classwork. They also showed me what types of projects I would be working on and gave me a tour of the office. I was able to meet a bunch of the engineers that I would be working under, which made it easier to gauge if I would be a good fit.
I applied online. The process took 1 day. I interviewed at Orndorf & Associates in Feb 2018
Interview
Started with an hour-ish phone screen, the first 15-20 mins of which was them selling themselves. Then a somewhat casual conversation discussing items on the resume and how I personally tackled certain projects.
They said they would be screening all candidates and get back to me in 2 weeks with an answer positive or negative. However, no such follow-up occurred, which says something about how they view employees (small firm, so it's not like they had an endless list)
