I applied online. The process took 3 weeks. I interviewed at Optum (Minneapolis, MN) in Feb 2022
Interview
Apply online --> Complete Hirevue --> Complete Online Assessment --> Interview with engineer to explain answers (usually just a formality if you did well enough on the OA)
Overall positive experience, though I found that email responses from recruiters / overall experience varies greatly. As a tip I'd recommend trying to complete the OA as fast as possible, it's like 2 Leetcode easys and 1 medium. Overall, I would not worry. Not really anything on DSA, if you have a good understanding of string manipulation and whatnot I think you'll be just fine
Interview questions [1]
Question 1
One of the easier coding questions was finding the character in a string that occured the most frequently (ex. if given 'abbccc' it should be 'c' and given 'bbaacc' it should be 'a' as 'a' is alphabetically first.
It was a smooth process with timely communication of important information. First was the altitude round followed by HR round and then the technical round. I got this opportunity through on-campus recruitment process.
I applied through university. The process took 1 day. I interviewed at Optum (Trichy) in Oct 2023
Interview
Very analytical and professional. They expected a lot of background projects to be done beforehand. Also, excellent DSA skills are a must. If I had prepared well enough, there was a good chance of me getting selected. Focusing,=more on DSA concepts will come in handy.

Question 1
How to find the square root of a number without using the default math function
I applied online. The process took 4 weeks. I interviewed at Optum (Hartford, CT)
Interview
HireVue ~> Behavioral questions with Engineer ~> Offer Once the process started at the HireVue, took a month for entire process to complete. Very quick. They really care more about you as a person and cultural fit than engineering skills. I know only few people randomly got selected to do a coding OA.
Interview questions [1]
Question 1
Tell me about your projects Tell me about your previous experience (if you have any) And very generic behavior question on the HireVue
