I had applied and quickly heard back from an HR rep. The initial phone screen was positive with the HR manager stating that I was qualified for the position and that the hiring team was eager to meet me. However, during the second interview with the hiring manager, it was vaguely hostile. I'm inclined to believe that there was a misunderstanding of job requirements or the role itself between HR and the hiring team. From the questions and general attitude of the interview, it seems although the HR manager believed I was fit for the role, the hiring manager disagreed. There were various questions regarding my work history, an unusual amount of questions regarding why I'm fit for the position and expectations of having experience with software and organizations that were not listed in the job description. Additionally, my interview accommodations were not honoured during the interview.
