Interview
Slow and careful interview process, everyone i spoke to was both thoughtful and heartful. It did take a long time -- around 7 weeks with 6 interviews: partially because i slowed it down and spaced out each level of interview as i applied to other places and also to live a more mindful life with intention; and also due to a bonus interview i earned by sort of being on the bubble, with them wanting to see more of my work. But at each and every stage the interviewers were considerate and compassionate. I felt no pressure, aside from ordinary job-interviewing nerves, and only support and encouragement. During the coding exercise -- my favorite part -- i laughed with the interviewer like we were old co-workers.

Question 1
Coding exercise consisted of a pretty basic REST-ish API with just the right level of difficulty in three phases: in-memory, then persisting to a db.
I applied online. The process took 3 days. I interviewed at OneStudyTeam in Sep 2022
Interview
It was a no-show.
Their job offer mentioned solutions for international candidates. After applying:
- I've got an automated invite for an interview.
- 24h before the scheduled time I asked how should I join the interview and that question got ignored.
- Nobody showed up at the time of the interview.
- Five minutes after the interview was supposed to begin I've received a short email explaining that they're not hiring international candidates.
- Zero apologies about the mistake and wasted time.

I applied online. The process took 1 week. I interviewed at OneStudyTeam (Boston, MA) in Mar 2021
Interview
Process was smooth and engaging, the task was to implement back-end service for the front-end they've already built. It took me about 1 hour to complete the task and afterwards we chatted about general engineering and Clojure ecosystem.
