      Application

I applied online. The process took 1 week. I interviewed at One Utility Bill (Newcastle upon Tyne, England) in Oct 2025

      Interview

My interview experience was very positive from start to finish. When I arrived at the office, the environment was calm and welcoming. I was greeted warmly, offered a drink, and then guided to the meeting room for a three-person panel interview. The interviewers were professional, friendly, and well-organized. One of them clearly explained the interview phases and what to expect, which helped me feel more comfortable. What I appreciated most was that it didn’t feel like a robotic or overly scripted interview. The questions flowed naturally and often built on my responses, as well as the questions I asked in return. This made the session feel more like a genuine conversation than a test. The technical portion was thorough and engaging, covering my CV, situational scenarios, system design, software engineering practices, and core computer science concepts. Although challenging, the interview felt fair, thoughtful, and insightful. Overall, it was a great experience that reflected well on the company’s culture and technical depth
