I applied through an employee referral. I interviewed at Omio (Berlin) in Jan 2015
Interview
= Technical test which I solved and added it to github
= Interview with a technical leader
= Interview with Senior Engineer
= Interview with another Senior Engineer
= Interview with CTO
= Interview with CEO
Mainly questions about Java, Databases, and very simple questions in computer science
The interview process was good until the company decided to ghost me after all rounds, right before the on-site meeting with a hiring manager to finalize everything. During the process, they were very communicative, supportive, and transparent until they stopped all communications and never responded to several follow-ups. That goes so against the values they told me many times about: transparency, soft skills, and communication. A simple message telling what happened would have sufficed; instead, there was complete ghosting. If you focus so much on the soft skills and transparency, maybe don't do it selectively?
