I was contacted about two days after applying on line. The two interviewers were Department managers. I was asked a few “throw you for a loop” questions. A day after the interview, the recruiter sent an email, advising that another candidate was selected. I can only think of two reasons why I was not selected, my age or that I was overqualified. When I was younger, if I was invited for an interview, I received an offer. I am retired now and I wanted to work in a local facility., just a job without all the stress of my original profession. I wish there was someway to see the qualifications of the person receiving the job offer. The company advertises that it is an equal opportunity employer but I am having serious doubts.
