I meet with a recruiter when I was 18 years old and I can remember he told me all about what the army does and the different jobs and the benefits. After thinking about it for about a week I meet with him and signed up. He asked me questions about my health such as did I have asthma or if I smoked or had done drugs. He then had me take a test to see how smart I was to see what kind of job I could get. Well I did pretty well on the test and they let me choose any job I wanted. Afterwards he sent me to MEPS. A military entry processing station. After MEPS I was shipped off tof basic training.
