I applied online. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at Octagon (Stamford, CT) in Jul 2021
Interview
Received email request for a first interview via email from talent recruitment. Interviewed over video call with potential boss and existing team mates on separate calls. They were very candid.
Terrible final round interview. The Sr. VP was too busy to give me the time of day and respect during my interview. From the very beginning, he clearly did not want to be there. The worst part was during the interview he was talking to other people. It is one of the most unprofessional situations I’ve been in throughout my career. Interviews are stressful enough and I think you can at least show respect to the person that showed up to interview at your company.
In the end, I checked out of the interview as well and I got an offer from another company for literally double of what Octagon was offering.
I applied online. The process took 4 weeks. I interviewed at Octagon (Los Angeles, CA) in Apr 2023
Interview
3 rounds: Initial phone call with recruiter; Interview with Manager; Interview with Team. Excellent balance between role-specific + background questions and professionalism while keeping a conversational tone and comfortable atmosphere. Hiring team was knowledgable and has significant experience within the organization.
