I had several interviews with Oakwood. The leadership team was very disorganized and at odds with each other. The original recruiter quoted me a salary range. Then after I met with two leaders by phone, they said their Singapore based owners would not approve that salary range, but they would work with me on a comp package. I ended up meeting with 6 members of their leadership team over a period of a few weeks.
They canceled an in person meeting with me 6 minutes before our start time. I was literally in their lobby when they called to cancel. No apology, just a "something came up and we have to reschedule" excuse. Then I was scheduled for a call with the CEO. I called in and waited. He never showed up. The new recruiter apologized and was sincere about the situation.
Fast forward a few months later, they all want to re-interview me again. I was no longer interested in what seemed like a hazing ritual. Shortly after all this, the company was sold for pennies on the dollar. Oakwood was never profitable after the original owner sold them in 2017. I wonder why.

Application
I applied online. The process took 3 weeks. I interviewed at Oakwood (Los Angeles, CA)
Interview
Fine interview with some good questions around process. From phone interview I was passed on to SVP and then in person with SVP and Team. Overall the process took a bit longer than I would have liked but I was warned that it would be a longer process than normal so I was prepared.
