I applied online. The process took 2 months. I interviewed at O'Gara Coach Company (Santa Monica, CA) in Mar 2015
Interview
My initial application was submitted in February.
The interview process consisted of a preliminary criteria assessment test which is horrendous and menial to the hiring process! This is sign number one to run away from this place.
The test administrator was the hiring personnel who did not know how to have a conversation but only tell you what you are going to do without making eye contact according to a script ! Which was not creative, not informational and lacked relevancy to the role!
When questioned about the companies direction, the goals within this role, culture, development, and the leaderships approachability all she would say was that you are here to serve and we need someone with a degree who loves cars because someone who knows cars without a degree has not worked out for us before.
When questioned on compensation there was no transparency and in the initial outreach I did not receive an answer to any questions.
This organization lacked communication skills in such a "high net worth" business.
It was not until we had our conversation the she mentioned that the role was a marketing role with a commission structure if you help sell cars. The compensation was very short of what should be expected for the role and the bonus structure was very off based upon their payout methods.
This is another company wanting premier talent for as much as they can skim you on! Do not bother applying here. They do not represent a company worth vesting time into to work with.
I applied online. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at O'Gara Coach Company in May 2015
Interview
The interview process is split up into 3 different stages. The first stage consist of an online personality test and an assessment. Once you've passed this stage you continue on to an interview with two different people starting with the Team Manager. During this interview I received a detailed description of the company and expectations that would be required of me should I be employed at the company. After my initial interview with the Team Manager I was introduced to the Team Director who went over the compensation in detail.
