I applied online. The process took 3 days. I interviewed at Nutrend.com (City of Industry, CA)
Interview
The interview questions were pretty straight forward, but her statements raised a lot of red flags. She informed me the previous employee suddenly left the job and three employees were let go because they just want to work 8 hours a day. There are no job training and guidelines and employees are expected to just ask questions from others. Employees are expected to take on additional responsibility, but they need permission to do overtime. Also mention that IT employees from China didn't finish working on the website. She asks me if i have any questions about the benefits and my reply was I don't usually ask about benefits and pay until I get an offer. Her reply was I already made my mind. If that is the case, why did you even bother informing me about the benefits since I'm not going to get an offer. Could it have been more professional by sending me an E-mail we are hiring someone else or don't say anything at all.
Company is giving bad vibes. It expects too much from employees without giving any training or guidelines. I just don't see how asking questions can help employees do a better job other than being more dependent on others to get work done. Avoid this company at all cost unless you are related to upper management. The office culture is accepted in China and unfortunately, the San Gabriel Valley, but don't expect to get much out of it.

Question 1
No difficult questions. She is trying to find someone who can do everything, become dependent on others, accept low pay, and take on new responsibilities without getting overtime pay.
I applied online. The process took 3 days. I interviewed at Nutrend.com (City of Industry, CA) in May 2012
Interview
Single interview. Kind of odd - conducted in what would have been a small office, but was turned into a storage closet with furniture and boxes piled up all over. Seemed very interested in whether I was working for, or had worked for, a Chinese-owned company.

Question 1
Wanted full business plan details; sales, suppliers, employees, P/L, market targets, demographics. No plan of their own was revealed. I inferred they were more on an information gathering mission, unless they found the perfect candidate for minimal money.
