Interview process moved fairly fast. Met with hiring manager and had a good conversation. They expressed that they thought joining this role might be on the junior side based on experience, however, it was not something that concerned me. Completed assignment and was scheduled for another round of interviews. Had conversations with another recruiter and coordinators for a live scheduling assignment. Shared a lot of how I was thinking and looking at the situation.
Didn’t make it past this round and was told my thought process was unclear. However, the assignment and live problem solving were clear in my thought process. Apparently, the “talent bar” is set really high, even for some one that the team thought this role be too junior for.

I applied online. The process took 4 weeks. I interviewed at Notion Labs (San Francisco, CA) in Mar 2026
Interview
The interview process was incredibly thorough and well-supported, from a transparent conversation with the Hiring Manager to a live scheduling activity. Receiving detailed preparation guides and meeting with a C-Suite executive showed a high level of investment in the role, and the surprise DoorDash gift card was a thoughtful touch. After passing the reference check stage, I was invited to the SF office for an informal chat. The office was fantastic and I really enjoyed meeting the team; however, I was notified the following day that they were moving forward with another candidate.
I applied online. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at Notion Labs (Dublin, Dublin) in Jan 2022
Interview
the interview process was quick and very well organised as I was able to give my availability through an interface. The interviews might be in the evenings for EMEA as some of the panel will be in America.
