I applied through an employee referral. The process took 1 day. I interviewed at North Carolina Court System (Statesville, NC) in Apr 2013
Interview
You will be interviewed by the individual in charge of the interns, likely to be ADA Nitzu. She is extremely friendly and open to questions. She will make sure you are aware that they do not compensate for the position; however if you are a rising 2L or 3L you may be able to try limited cases with the assistance of an ADA such as check fraud cases, to gain real courtroom experience.
