This was a multi-step application/interview process, including application, recorded video introduction, mock coaching session and Zoom interview, all completed within a week and a half. The mock coaching session focused on delivering Motivational Interviewing skills with a hypothetical client. The Zoom interview focused on questions about past work/life experiences - "When was a time that you received constructive criticism and had to incorporate the feedback into your work?"
*Please note - all correspondence from Noom came into my inbox except for the offer itself, which was filtered into my Promotions folder.
I applied through an employee referral. I interviewed at Noom (Orlando, FL) in Sep 2020
Interview
Overall, not bad. They gave me 20 minutes to answer a few scenarios to see how I would respond to different people in different stages in their journey and life. Then they give you a question where they want a 1 min video response to.
The next part was a mock coaching session that lasted 45 min. From what I understand this is where a lot of people struggle and where a lot of recruitments get weeded out. They want to see how you will handle a difficult client, what questions will you ask and how will you maintain your composure. While it may not be realistic, it is a test, so just focus on using MI techniques and try to be as positive as possible. I walked away wanting to crawl under a rock, but that seems to be a general consensus and does not mean you did bad.
The final interview was where we finally met a recruiter from Noom face to face and she asked me a variety of questions about my work experience.

Question 1
Tell me about a time you got assigned a project and completed it. Tell me about a time you worked with a team to accomplish a task. When you get overwhelmed, what does your self care look like?
The process was straightforward and moved pretty quickly. I knew what to expect. I was informed there weren't any positions and that I would be put on a waitlist. I successfully passed the interview process, but was placed on the waitlist.
Application
Assessment with video component
Mock interview with "Sam"
Final video interview with actual coach
I applied online. I interviewed at Noom in Nov 2020
Interview
As mentioned in other reviews, I too, submitted an online application. Once the talent team reviewed it I was invited to take the clinical assessment which consisted of 6 scenarios ranging from balancing stress to a sick child in the hospital. The assessment was timed. 20 minutes to complete. I finished in about 12 minutes and used the remaining time to add to my answers for a couple of the scenarios. Immediately after the assessment I was instructed to upload a 1 minute video answering a question in reference to being a good coach. The next step in the mock interview. I have read that motivational interviewing techniques, OARS communicative skills, and SMART goals should be utilized. My mock interview is tomorrow morning at 8.
