I applied online. The process took 5 months. I interviewed at Noom in Jun 2017
Interview
I applied for the job online in January and got an automated email response in June asking to set up a phone interview. The phone interview was pretty basic (tell me about yourself, etc.) and then I had a mock coaching session using the Noom app a few days later. The mock coaching session involved me talking to a fake noom client who was unwilling to make any changes and it was extremely awkward. All of the emails I received were from a noom employee named “Taylor” but it was pretty obvious that they were automated messages.

Question 1
What qualities do you possess that would make you a good coach?
After submitting a self-recorded video introducing yourself, if accepted, you are invited to a video interview. The conversation explores your background, education and experience, as well as goals for your career. It was relaxed but professional.

Question 1
Why do you feel you'd be a good fit for this position?
A few rounds of interviews with leadership and then presented with a case study for a theoretical user of Noom of how to assist them through menu selection at a popular restaurant chain.
Interview process included a mock interview (digital) and a virtual 1:1 meeting with a Heath Coach. My 1:1 meeting ended up being a phone call rather than a virtual meeting.
