I applied online. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at Newton (London, England) in Oct 2019

      Interview

An assessment day with about 15 other people. The first activity was to find out as much about another candidate as possible and then to introduce them. This was followed by a repeat of the tests carried out online. Finally a group case study where each person had a piece of information and had to solve as a group. The interview was not at all personal. I got the impression they were looking for clones of an ideal candidate so they can mold you into exactly the person they want you to be. They are not looking for individuals with different experiences. They're looking for people who have limited experience so they can create you into exactly what they want, rather than someone who may question the status quo. I can only think they end up with a group of people are exact replicas of one another.

Thanks for your review. When we meet with candidates, we look for people with intellectual curiosity, a drive to make things better and an aptitude for building relationships with colleagues and clients of all levels. We recognise that our company will thrive if we hire people from a variety of degree subject backgrounds and different life experiences - and our recruitment process, which is continually refine, is designed with that in mind.
